The legality of CBD in Lithuania has been the subject of a long and ineffective debate, both in society and in government. However, on 10 June 2021. On 20 June 2018, the Seimas adopted an amendment to the law on hemp for fibre, which allows the use of whole plant parts for the production of products and the legal supply of products to the market. Thus, consumers can finally purchase CBD products with peace of mind and without fear.
